World Peace Day 2020

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆

The scalded hands of the world seek a balm, as they balance it to a workable equilibrium, while those rendered homeless in violent uprootment and refugees stare into the distance for acceptance, as childhood and teenage adjusts to the company of the self in the Covid-19 imposed isolation, and a bird of peace flies free even as branches of fall are loosening their grip on the dry leaves and the park bench waits for visitors as we take in each day at a time, and we wish for some happy fulfillment despite the hopelessness everywhere.
